Tis the Season!

We've been busy making Thanksgiving rolls...decorating ginger bread houses...putting ornaments on Christmas trees...and the holiday festivities continue...

We went to the pumpkin patch last week. He didn't really care about anything but the cars, bikes and trucks they had for kids to play with. And they had sheep and goats for crying out loud! We had lots of fun, though. This is becoming one of my favorite times of the year for sure...

For some reason, I couldn't get this picture to rotate, but it's really cute! This was after we had been rolling around on the trampoline for like an hour. Haha. I though his hair was pretty awesome.

Sticky Fingers

You see the little, cute, blue elephant in the picture??? He stole it from the mall. Seriously, he did. After an hour or so of shopping in multiple stores, i realized that he had it. But I couldn't figure out what store it came from because there weren't any tags attached to it. Oh well. I'm sure I've spent enough money on other stuff, wherever it came from. We had a talk about taking thing without paying first...he didn't get it.

We got to make an unexpected trip to Utah for the funeral of Dallon's lovely grandmother. The trip was bitter/sweet. We were really happy to be able to see all the family together since it rarely happens. I didn't get too many pictures because Gramps (Dallon's dad) is so good at taking awesome ones. We were only there for a few days but we got lots of good family time in. It was so great to be able to see everyone. We are so blessed to have such good family members. As you can see, we spent lots of time with Tayler. Haha! Plus, she's the only one who likes having her picture taken.

New Friend!

This young man (or woman. i don't know how you tell on a snapping turtle.) made his way into our driveway a few days ago. Our dog, Domino, seriously wanted to eat him. Probably a bad idea to lunge at him and bark in his face when he could easily rip her nose off with his beak. He's pretty awesome, though, huh? My dad picked him up by his tail and dropped him in the creek, lucky for Domino who was a little too brave.

I realize I'm a little bit behind but.........

Yes, Easter was over a month ago but here is what we did. Heaton found his Easter basket behind the couch, filled with candy, toys and coloring books. He was so excited. But wait! He then found his Easter bunny (which is not a bunny) behind the other couch. It's a giraffe pillow pet. If your child does not have a pillow pet, get them one! Heaton is obsessed with his and will go right to sleep as long as he has it in his crib. It was a nice Easter. We did Easter basket stuff, dyed hard boiled eggs, played outside and had a delicious Italian spaghetti dinner. Not traditional but whatever, I'm Italian and I eat pasta on Sundays. But seriously...Pillow Pets are awesome.

I came across this quote that someone had posted on facebook. I'm not sure who said/wrote it but I like it a lot.

Last week we went to the Baltimore Aquarium. It's a really cool place. The actual in aquarium is right on the water in the middle of Inner Harbor in downtown Baltimore. They had a cool new jellyfish exhibit and we also got to see the dolphin show. Dallon was the most amused by the dolphin show. We had lots of fun and Heaton loved the fish.
