I Have a Baby Girl!!!

MADDEX LAWS COCHRAN was born on April 9, 2011. She was 19 1/2 inches long and weighed 7 lbs 2 oz. She is healthy and cute and we love her!

No more poopy diapers...

...at least for a few more days until baby #2 arrives...

Playing at the Park

Heaton loves to go to this park close to our house. I'm not sure what that animal is that he's sitting on but I think it used to be a dolphin. He loves big slides.

At the ZOO!

We're lucky to live so close to so many fun things in D.C.. One of our favorites is the National Zoo since Heaton loves animals (although you might think we're lying since the only animals in the pictures are statues.). This was a particularly fun trip since my sister was in town visiting. And yes, I am pregnant and fat so please no judgement! Haha. Come visit us and we'll take you to the zoo!

Santa Clause Came!!!

(I realize I'm a little behind, but better late than never, right?)
A couple of years ago we started a Christmas Eve tradition. We draw names and buy that person some pajamas to open on Christmas Eve. We put them on that night and wear them all of Christmas day.




Here are a few of Heaton ripping into his present on Christmas morning. He had a lot. Spoiled brat!

Terrible Twos!

I can't believe I'm the mother of a 2 year-old. This makes me old...
Heaton had a nice, low-key 2nd birthday with family, presents and cake. I do believe that on his actual birthday I let him eat a chocolate sprinkled donut for dinner while watching his new Toy Story 3 movie. A few days later we celebrated since Dallon had to work. This is when he learned what a "present" is. You can imagine how well that went over Christmas when they weren't all for him.

ZzZzZzZzZz....

We finally got him into a real bed! He loves it...Probably because in the mornings he can get out of it by himself and get into everything with us even waking up!

Tis the Season!

We've been busy making Thanksgiving rolls...decorating ginger bread houses...putting ornaments on Christmas trees...and the holiday festivities continue...

I love this time of the year!

Happy Fall!

We went to the pumpkin patch last week. He didn't really care about anything but the cars, bikes and trucks they had for kids to play with. And they had sheep and goats for crying out loud! We had lots of fun, though. This is becoming one of my favorite times of the year for sure...

Trampoline

For some reason, I couldn't get this picture to rotate, but it's really cute! This was after we had been rolling around on the trampoline for like an hour. Haha. I though his hair was pretty awesome.
