Our trip to Utah was really fun! We mostly just hung out with family which is what we wanted. We spent a lot of time at JaiCi and Ifraz's new house and played with their little guys. Heaton automatically made a new best friend in Navi. It was really cute to watch them play together. We got to see Nelli who we haven't seen in like over a year and a half! It was a short visit but we were really glad to see her beautiful face (even if she is a little trickster!). Sharon is looking so cute with her little belly...and Robert looks cute with his, too (Just kidding, Robert, you're skinny and buff). We got to see Ryann too while we were there and she is so cute. I lot of the family thinks that Heaton and her look a lot alike. I think they're right. Tayler and Casey are as funny as ever. Tay-tay still loves Dallon the most and Casey loves to play with Heaton. We're just sad that we didn't get to go at the same time as Gramps and Queenie. We had a great trip and we can't wait to go back and play some more!!!

The Magic of Christmas Morning

The week before Christmas we had an AWESOME snow storm. We got like 22 inches and everything shut down. For us, that's a lot...if you're from Utah or Chicago, shut up! School and work were both cancelled for a couple extra days leading into Christmas break. It was so nice just stay home and enjoy each other and the Christmas season. We took Heaton sledding and, as you can see, I think he was a little scared his first time. Dallon decided to make the biggest snow ball he could, until he could no longer push the boulder (I think a piece of it is still in the front yard!). We had lots of fun playing in the snow, drinking hot cocoa, making cookies, and watching movies!
